Seiran tugging on your bed's covers!
Her timidly, but excitingly telling you that she's made it into Touhou 19 as a playable character!
You waking up and looking at Seiran! There's a hint of surprise & excitement in your face, but you know better than to jump ship immediately!
For you see, Seiran's not a stupid girl, far from it, but her enjoyment of Earth has been so through that she's let herself go in a couple of ways, and she seems to believe just about anything can happen. However, for the sake of the great friendship you & Seiran have maintained thus far, you choose to keep these thoughts to yourself, until you are handed the latest edition of the Bunbunmaru Journal by Seiran.
You're not one to believe everything that's told by that scandal seeking tengu, but this time, it seemed all there, clear as crystal, Seiran had done it! She was gonna get her chance to be in the spotlight! For everyone to see just how capable of a bunny she was! This was beyond the friendly rivalry she had entertained with Ringo since the two came to Earth, no no no, this was bigger...Even coming out on top of the shrine maiden or the ordinary magician in a Danmaku Battle would be a story for the ages! She had nothing to lose!
And so, the two of you spent the rest of the day together, talking about the many possibilities this chance of a lifetime might be coming with: Seiran had read the news several times by now, and was quick to make many theories on the kind of opponents she'd be fighting. It really seemed like the sky was the limit, but even if it hadn't involved such a wide array of opponents, it would be the event to remember for our dearest former eagle ravy!
Since you didn't want to stay there with your arms crossed, you offered to cook for Seiran. Apparently, you were the first person she even bothered to tell all of this. The thought of you two being so intimate that you'd come before Ringo, her former companion turned friendly rival whom she lives next to, warmed your heart. And so you quickly got to work on the dish you intended to prepare for Seiran. In a few minutes, you were done with making the dish.
It was... Black Sesame Dango, one of Seiran's key items that she sold at her shop. You had spent many afternoons together learning & honing your skills at making these kinds of dangos with her. They were about as sloppy as they usually were these days, but the growth you, but also Seiran had gone through throughout the years had been staggering. These dangos were a symbol of that growth.
And so, despite the unassuming look and taste of your dangos, the two of you throughly enjoyed them and the lunch went as smoothly as a letter in the post, for the message had been conveyed: Seiran had gone through so much, made so many efforts, and this year would be the year where it all paid off, and you'd be there for her...
