Yeah, Satoshi and Satoko are the only ones whose main sins remain even in miracle worlds like Matsuribayashi. No turning the clock back on that, so it's an interesting angle to look at. Satoshi was pretty much in the clear once Shion did her "I'm actually Shion and he was with me that night!" thing.
The crime was pinned on that drug addict and Ooishi only really cared about getting the Sonozakis, not Satoshi himself.
What he would've had to worry about was the yamainu potentially grabbing him as an L5 victim if he didn't go terminal right then with Irie.
