It's all speculation. Main plot is certainly going to be updated and there are still the alt versions of Remi/Flan and the PC-98 characters if they want to. No one knows if they have planned anything in terms of new modes or even if they are really going to release Marisa. They could also shit the bed and release Sanae instead since she is technically also in the game already in a battle.
