Oh yeah I know that, 95% of the time it's shit, but the other 5%, mostly videos where it's just one person speaking, or bits and pieces every once in a while for streams, it works either enough so you can guess the context behind what's said or almost perfect translation.

I heard a rumor way back that google translate actually doesn't have a very good working....Japanese? (Or Korean, can't remember correctly) to English translator, so it actually parses it to Korean (or Japanese if viceversa) first before translating THAT to English.

Either way in my experience watching videos subbed in other languages and autotranslating, Korean is the most accurate, better than Chinese Mandarin. I have it on for streams because, I'm an EOP so helps occasionally, but it's a real Godsend for videos that are already fansubbed but not in English.
