Yes, there was a chemical smell for the first couple of weeks or so, I guess freshly molded foam needed to outgas. No smell at all now.

The skin is soft but the body is firm-ish. 168cm is much softer, which kind of fits.

Never measured, but it's deep. Deep enough that I needed to put a piece of hard foam in to stop the TPE insert from sinking.

No, but it does require some force and the tricky part is not to put too much force.

As far as storage, they sit around the house on chairs and the bed when I'm not using them.
I don't think it would be a good idea to put them into a fetal position and back very often. I am not sure how durable the joints really are.

They weight around 20lb.
