So I've been thinking.

With all the threads NSJ deletes, the going theory is that there is a portal to Gensokyo on page 16, and he's guarding it from us.

But maybe that's not the case.

See, on a populated, fast-moving imageboard, threads are bumped off the site in minutes. /jp/ isn't like that, because there are so few of us.

Now, you come to a board and see that there are threads from weeks ago still up, it's depressing and makes you feel alone.

My point is, what if NSJ is just trying to make us feel like the board is moving quicker? What if he's not trying to kill the board? What if he's just trying to make us not feel lonely?

We might have had him all wrong!

So I was reading a certain book but a section in I realized that I needed calculus knowledge to go further.

I would just do MIT OCW, but I don't have very much mathematical education at all and don't know where to start, and watching the videos is hard because I know the professor would probably hate me as a person. I feel like an idiot for trying to do this because even the stuff that amazes me was easy for some other guy in the 1600s.

This is depressing.
