I feel like I just switched to Monster Girl Quest.

That really doesn't say nice things about the protagonist. Not shitting on Luca, of course, but the protag is so goddamn flat that any kind of assertive sexual advances made on him feel like assault on a helpless victim.

He's definitely the weakest part of this VN by a long shot. If they replaced him with a towel had a smiley face drawn on it and was named Kyoichi, not a whole lot would change. Except for the part where girls falling in love with a towel and getting into emotional feuds with the other girls over it would be funny. I've read a few VNs with bland self-insert leads, but he's probably the blandest, largely on account of the fact that the girls are all over his dick from the word go.

They should have made Honda the lead instead.
