It was more of a fear really. Remember that the last people to have contacted Eientei were directly asking for Reisen to come back, and for a moon rabbit to suddenly appear it's no doubt that she was afraid that she would be punished/captured. Eirin reassures her otherwise though, maybe Udonge just jumps to conclusions to quickly?

Why would she have to worry about Eirin or Kaguya, especially if nobodies asked for them from the moon as far as she knows.

It is true she is pretty much on the side, but it does help to have more hands to help, doesn't it? Eirin also remarks that she uses Reisen to keep tabs on the moon. Reisen II is next-to-useless anyways, hardly comparable to Udonge.

Eirin must see something in her other than just for keeping tabs on the moon, since Udonge is her disciple.
