True Love was the first game for many of us, and it was pretty addictive at its time. It can still entertain anyone not biased against old games (not like there are many dating sims translated overall anyway).
Words Worth is actually pretty good among the gameplay eroges. I found it to be pretty funny at places, and the characters were entertaining.
Animamundi is pretty good if you can stand male romance. It has a really unique dark atmosphere, and the story was surprisingly good actually, like the parts with the Archangel vs Archdevil fight, or the entire chapter which plays in Hell, and I liked the sister character quite a lot. Also, the fabulous protagonist was great in my opinion. I'd recommend the uncensor patch though, which puts gore like this back.

Entirely straight guy here too. There's no sex in this as far as I know, but that really is just a short extra content (or fandisk) of the main game, Lamento -Beyond the Void-. From what I've heard, it's only an hour long spin-off something.

If you are really curious what the girls are reading, I'd recommend reading Animamundi instead. That's non-H too, but it contains some explicit descriptions about how they are doing some naughty things.
If you get the uncensorship patch, you'll get the awesome gory stuff like this back, but then those naughty bits I mentioned will be more visible too (it's still worth it if you ask me).
Anyway, it's actually a pretty cool atmospheric game in my opinion, if you aren't indecisive about your sexuality. The protagonist is the most FABULOUS protagonist I ever encountered, two or three of the routes are normal hetero with a heroine at the end, and the premise itself is really entertaining (your sister was beheaded due to accused of being a witch, but for some not-yet-explained reason managed to survive using her head only, and you try to study alchemy using your father's studies, so you can heal her. Then later it involves a bunch of really awesome things, like transforming to the Devil himself, fighting against angels, traveling through Hell itself etc. I think it's really worth checking out.
