I don't think it's all good or all bad. We're definitely missing out on the wackier fun stuff and it'd be great if she was a more complete freelancer (rather than just Center Village + Venus like before) but at the same time, I do think Monroe/Madonna actually have the direction and production quality to take her work to the next level. She's already been making amazing JAV ever since debut but she made art with her latest release
Hope we'll see her do the aphrodisiac series soon and, of course, a MADOOOON!!!!

I can't stop watching her recently either but I feel like that's an unfair assessment since there aren't really any others with her look and vibe (prim and proper like you say, but also strong angular supermodel-esque features while still being feminine)
With everyone else it's kinda like comparing apples and oranges. She's a masterful (returning) veteran compared to the others with Quasi- and Semi- ripeness but then she's still a decade younger than the Classic Hags. They're all different flavours and moods so it's hard to make any meaningful comparison — Yuna is just too exceptionally unique

I find Venus/Center Village/Takara Eizou more charming but think Monroe is a good fit for Reiko Seo nonetheless and I'm interested to see an underappreciated actress with huge talent like her benefit from some of the polish that Madonna/Monroe have. It's a shame she never worked with Takara and only ever alternated between Venus and CV when working freelance. Honestly I would have preferred if she worked with all the mature studios rather than becoming an exclusive at any studio even if I do love the Madonna formula and presentation
