What point of Genome used his spiral energy to grant Viral a body that was immortal do you not understand? Viral might not be able to use spiral energy but his body is designed in such a way that spiral energy keeps reviving him. Simon also has the power to bring the dead back to life. Who's to say Genome or Simon don't have the power to make themselves immortal? Genome's body can hardly be considered normal, he was able to withstand attacks from TTGL with it.

Oh, and I just remembered the spiral force field that surrounds TTGL. Give up, it's the TTGL, you cant beat it. If spiral energy is infinite, and that force feild is made of spiral energy, that means it has enough energy to bend the time/space around it. It's probably more hax than an A.T field.
