The gold problems in the safes and trade in problems in 1.65 seems to be fixed in 1.66. Have made around 42 million gold so far from my shops and I haven't touched the gold in my safe yet. When I sell a spell book I sometimes get a spell book trade in and when I sell equipment I sometimes get the equivalent trade in. So looks like things are working in 1.66.
