Does her head come off easily? If not it's possible the female connector in the head is stuck on the male connector in the neck and won't budge to go all the way in.

Obitsu do have long necks that need flattering angles for photography, but even considering that yours doesn't seem quite right. I don't intend to make fun of your doll or say it's bad quality or ugly - but you need to be aware these are assembled by a guy on a production line and it's possible something isn't quite right.

Can you take some photos of the neck and head pin and sockets? No need to set up the dlsr and lightbox, I just want to see them. I have 5 of the damn things, and a headless corpse to play with too.

Maybe I don't speak for everyone but in my case I struggle to meet the impeccably high standards the regulars in this thread seem to have, so I normally just post other people's work that meets the standard. I also don't have any Volks dolls and some of you are mean to me and my miniature pretend children

Maybe it's because I own five of them but I think the peanut joints are really cute and I prefer them to Volks. Knees in particular. Volk's do look better from the front when the doll is standing, yes, but that's about all.

Oh and magnetic feet, too. I don't think anyone's mentioned that yet. You can have them hanging off the side of the fridge if you feel like it. Or put the metal plate each body ships with under a piece of decoration and have the doll quite comfortably stand there with lower risk of falling over.
