>She was an avatar of the Gods, a concept intrinsically linked with man. She was a being so far above, that the number of those who called her equal could be counted by only a hand.
>She was glory and infinity. There was no force as fundamental as time.
>So she was curious, and confused, when she encountered the 'Anomaly'.
>Time was largely static and stable, but even order has a little chaos and temporal anomalies were threats that she had to dealt with herself.
>Yet the 'Anomaly' that she discovered was the first that confuddled her, an obstacle and threat that even with all her powers couldn't destroy.
>It was the constant, the one common thing in every possible timeline. It was something that dared call itself her equal.
>She was surprised to find it was nothing more than a mere human being.
>At first she was wary, unsure if this was not a mere façade. She had taken human form in order to better investigate, surprising it with a sudden appearance in the middle of the mortal realm.
>She had forced herself into it's life, a simple observation mission. To lower herself to a baser existence.
>She had been harsh maybe, even cruel. She needed to test this Anomaly, physically if not mentally.
>Then she decided to turn it sexual, humans were crude and the concept of something as disgusting as sex was difficult for her to utilize but alas was necessary.
>The Anomaly didn't complain, it obeyed faithfully and even acted fulfilled.
>It confused her, to be treated as something less than perfect and be happier because of it.
>The days grew longer, the time spent with the Anomaly grew longer.
>She had started feeling things, embarrassing things she hadn't anticipate.
>The Anomaly vexed her, it always seemed to just be able to bypass her mental barriers while she could never tell what he was thinking.
>This dance started having extra steps.
>She had grew complacent, allowing the Anomaly far too many victories. The curse of her human form affecting her judgement.
>She started to be softer towards it.
>She started to allow it more and more into her heart.
>She allowed him to love her.
>She was afraid.
>She loved him too.
>She was an avatar of the Gods, a concept intrinsically linked with man. She was a being so far above, that the number of those who called her equal could be counted by only a hand.
>She wanted an equal.
>She wanted someone who would hold her hand, and accompany her until time itself would die.
>She wanted someone to alleviate the pain of loneliness.
>The Anomaly had won.
>He had won.
>She would not allow him to die.
>He was hers and hers alone.
