See it like this: a guy said he is gonna translate something, so no point in doing that as well because there is a chance he was really working and you both end releasing the same chapter.
Reality: it’s a fucking mafia and whoever calls dibs first now owns the right to translate and should anyone else interfere they will get harassed because of it. There is no teamwork and they are retarded.
