What about Väinämöinen? Think about that dude. A caster wielding a huge harp like instrument made out of bones of a giant fish and hair of a troll. He's an old sage and a trickster who had trouble getting laid(the girl he wanted to fuck killed herself). Väinämöinen has divine blood and can control animals and people with his music. He also led an army and paid a visit to hell as well as fought a sorceress that had transformed into a flying beast.
