1) i feel like with a lot of anime/game merchandise you need to expect to spend a fat buck on it (fuck the scalpers though, hard agree)

2) i think its silly to let normies ruin the enjoyment of fumos even if they can be annoying. there's a reason that secondaries don't like to wander in these territories - there's a very clear divide between them and the rest of the sensible community who actually cares about touhou, and it's been that way for a while.
just steer clear of the secondaries and pretend they're not there, and it suddenly becomes more liberating to enjoy the things you want to enjoy without feeling shame
