And then, much like yesterday, something began happening at the mountain. I could see a tiny light in the darkness near the base of the mountain, somewhere near Genbu Ravine. "What's that...?" Reimu asked me, squinting. "There, in the sky." She pointed up well above the mountain and off to the side slightly. I followed her finger and frowned. There was something up there. Another light, this one a deep red. "Oh, I've got a really bad feeling about this." Reimu groaned. "I'm gonna go get my gohei. I just know-" And then, it happened. First, there was a sudden quiet, like everything in the world was holding its breath, and the lights seemed to grow in intensity. And then, the light in the sky shot downward, in a massive beam of energy. "That's Tenshi!" Reimu cried, shield her eyes. At the same time, another beam, this one from the ground and lit with every colour of the rainbow shot upward. "Marisa's Master Spark!" In the middle, the two beams hit, exploding into a massive sphere of clashing energy. Even from here, I could hear it. "What the hell are they doing!?" Reimu shouted. The two clashing beams of energy seemed to be struggling against each other, pushing one way and then the other. "If that hits the surface, it'll rupture the whole planet!" I wondered if Reimu was perhaps being a bit overdramatic, but at the same time, looking at the two beams, I wasn't all too sure. Then, Marisa's Master Spark suddenly intensified and shot skyward, completely enveloping Tenshi's attack. The massive beam launched upward into the sky, disappearing into the distance. For a moment, it seemed to light everything up before it faded, but I belatedly realised that the sun had started to rise above the valley.

All in all, it was a very impressive start to the day. Reimu, however, didn't seem to think so. "That..." She growled. Her hands were clenched and shaking slightly, and I could see the rising anger on her face. "That's it!" She roared, taking to the air. She shot off back toward the Shrine, and I jogged after her, pleased that we'd cleared the path already. Before I was even halfway there, she was launching back out, her mittens gone and her gohei clutched tightly in her hand. Surrounding her waist were four yin-yang orbs, which rotated around her as she flew. "I'll kill them both!" She shouted, pausing in front of me. I tried to calm her slightly and remind her that she probably shouldn't kill them, but she didn't seem very capable of listening. At the very least, I shouted, just put them in Eientei. She launched off into the morning sky so fast that it sent me stumbling backward. I watched her go and wondered how long it would take for Marisa or Tenshi to recover from the injuries she was probably about to inflict on them.

"So...Er, was that the moment when Reimu snapped?" I heard a voice ask, so I turned. There was Yamame, pulling her ribbon into place and scratching her head. "I mean, the only time I've seen her angry like that, it was when she thought that I'd killed you." I asked her what Reimu had done as I stepped closer and straightened her ribbon myself. "Er, just came flying through the door, grabbed her gohei, and shot back out while ranting about how she was definitely going to kill someone - No, er, two people." I nodded. Marisa and Tenshi, it seemed, had gotten a little overzealous. "Yeah...I could see that from here." She pulled me back over to Reimu's room. I blinked. In the corner was the blanket, bundled up in a way that definitely didn't look natural. It was trembling slightly. And...Kisami was nowhere to be seen. I looked at Yamame, then pointed at the blanket. "Oh, er...Yes. I'm afraid that Ki had a bit of a fright when Reimu burst in." Yamame whispered to me. That, I muttered back, was adorable. I tiptoed over to the blanket, crouched down, and gently pulled at the edge of it. A tuft of red hair popped out, followed by another, then another, until it looked more like a blanket with red hair. I looked over at Yamame, then tentatively said Kisami's name. That stopped the trembling, and I pulled the blanket down further, revealing Kisami's face. She was white as a sheet and her hair was falling in every direction, which only made her look even wilder. "Ki...?" Yamame asked gently. "You okay?"
