I'm going to let you off with a warning, since your opinion holds. /vg/ manages to stay on topic more of the time than /v/. For that feat alone, it's commendable...not many boards on 4chan do so. Threads on /jp/ barely even have topics in the first place:

>Madoka a feet
>Sanae a slut
>which 2hu wud u fuq
>no replies
>why is she so perfect?

Pray tell, how do these relate to otaku culture at all? All otakus are insufferable, but not all otakus have a single-digit IQ as most threads on /jp/ would suggest.

This thread was /v/ from the beginning. But then, there can be no /v/ without /jp/...although 99% of the former board would be in rump roasted denial about that.
