This just means Moa's mom is very respectable. Instead of spoiling Moa and making her feel like the "rich girl" around her friends, Moa gets a chance to feel like a "normal" girl, despite her successes.

That's a very individualist mindset. She is only 15. Look at how all the American teenage celebrities turn out when they're given this type of "freedom". It gets to their heads.

Excellent parenting. This way Moa doesn't waste her time with her obsession and is able to experience her youth to the fullest.

She's a child now and she will be treated like a child until she is an adult.
