I'm talking about area heal, not mass heal. Mass heal is garbage.

I can't tell you how to play the game. I never found it hard to mix and match my party, but eh.
I can tell you that you will HATE stage 18. It's the first part of the final area. It's also a three-way party split, and the enemies are pretty damn tough; none of that "magic goes here, physical goes there" stuff either
