“You enjoy yourself?” Seija asked, slapping me on the back, sending me upward a foot or two. “Thought you preferred modest woman.”
“It’s not like that.” I said waving my hand. “It felt like I was hugging my mother.” I say, surprised at my own words.
“Ha! If that Yukari’s a mom, I’ll put on a nice concealing Kimono and make sure to walk ten paces behind you from now on!” Seija laughed.
This feeling was odd, and when I thought about it, the Yakumo household’s duty was to maintain Gensokyo. Maybe at some point the HSE was a part of that plan? No, even if it was, Yukari had clearly been pushed into a situation where she was out of here element, but was this the first time she had done something purely for herself?
‘Gensokyo’s mother’ I thought. Giving it all she’s got and never able to get any love in return. What a strange idea.
“Come on.” Seija said, grabbing my hand and pulling me off. “Forget the cache, we need to get you home and wipe that Sage’s stink off you before I puke.”
Grabbing her hand, I pull the jealous Amanojaku back, and put my arms around her waist.
Seija was small in comparison to Yukari, but she was soft and her hair kind of smelled of chestnuts. She didn’t have the toned, brutish body of the Oni species she resembled; Her’s was much daintier than that. It made me want to manhandle her.
“Seija…” I began. “…I’m not willing to wait until we get home.”
The Amanojaku doesn’t fight me much, after all, this was one of those situations where she was happier getting what she wanted in a roundabout way. I suppose sometimes that had its appeal to. Maybe if I was lucky, if I kept making deals and building value, somehow, we could even flip this curse of mine into a blessing.

At this point the storyline is 'plot ready' for the HSE. I may add in a fluff chapter here or there to tie up some loose ends/fun stuff though. I hope I was able to capture all the reason why romancing an Amanojaku is a bad idea, but also to not let your inhabitations prevent you from having a good life!
