nah, I love her in all the current works too. Reimu was always kind of weird, in a way that sets her apart from, say, akyuu or a normal girl from the village. She was coming up with harebrained schemes to increase the shrine's popularity all the way back in early CoLA, where she considers changing the name of the shrine.
WaHH Reimu is just as much Reimu as early CoLA Reimu, she's still a strange girl by anyone's standards, and that's what I like about her.
