In the meta world, Battler and Riyu discuss whether or not their eyes are trustworthy, and agree to combine their perspectives to lead them to more accurate truths. Beatrice tries to shake them and state that her Red Truth will break through them, but Riyu has no problems with it, surprising Battler with how confident he is, and providing him with more confidence of his own. Beatrice taunts them and they transition to the gameboard. Natsuhi opens her room at night and finds a creepy doll and a new letter. She can no longer feel safe in her own room. She covers the doll and wonders if someone is hiding in her room before reading the letter. It's short, there's a single phrase, no signature, but it's enough to cause her to break down in tears and beg for her life. The phrase is revealed to be "Good night, mother" and the chapter ends.
