Complete beginner question.
I'm trying to understand this but I don't. I don't understand why it wouldn't be
>人は魚が好きだ
to mean "person that likes fish". Is there a video for beginners that breaks this stuff down more? Earlier in the lesson it says that "Bob likes fish" is
>ボブはさかながすきだ。
So why isn't it the same for "person likes fish"? Why does 人は魚が好きだ mean "People like fish"?
