What Touhou really needs right now to regain the momentum on the doujin scene is more "generic" characters.

More vampires. More demons. More lewd cat youkai. More sly fox youkai.

This is what fans want. Not some shitty tool youkai nobody cares about or ever wanted. ZUN really needs to pander to his fanbase a bit if he wants Touhou to stay the #1.
