That may have been true at the beginning of the Pandemic simply because the high-population density inherent in large cities make them more vulnerable to transmittable diseases.

But not that the effects of social distancing and lockdowns that were implemented in liberal areas can be felt it's the "muh freedom" and the "masks equals slavery" states that are suffering the worst outbreaks.
