I was also now aware that she was pressing her body against mine.

Reimu seemed to suddenly become aware of this around the same time. For a moment, neither of us moved. I wondered if Reimu would leap away from me, but she remained still. Frozen, like a very attractive statue. "We've been sleeping together for days." She finally said. "In far less than this." She still hadn't pushed herself away. "I..." I had that feeling again. Like I was at a crossroad.

But in defiance of all logic, I heard a different sound. A sort of snicker, coming from my right. I slowly, painfully, turned my head. And there was Tenshi Hinanawi, leaning against the wall and looking about as amused as anyone could be. "You know, I could always get everyone out of the Shrine. Give you two some...alone time." She looked like she was struggling intensely to not burst into mad laughter. "Actually, I am going to do that. This storm's about to get worse, and you won't want to be going outside much for a few days. I'll even take Marisa home for you."

Reimu launched away from me with some sort of inarticulate yelling. I suspected that her illness hadn't fully faded yet, and as I watched Miss Tenshi effortlessly slide around all of her attacks, I could tell that I was right. I swallowed and took a deep breath. That had been a bit intense. I leant back against the wall, then decided that I'd lost enough time. Miss Tenshi offering to take Marisa home had reminded me that I didn't even know why Marisa was hurt. I caught both Reimu and Miss Tenshi's attention with a shout, though it didn't stop Reimu from trying to attack her. Slowly, I asked what had happened to Marisa. "Oh, funny story, actually. You'll love it." Miss Tenshi said, catching Reimu's fist with her forearm and spinning, throwing Reimu's balance off and sending her stumbling forward. "Actually, let's go and ask her. You'll probably want to hear this." She smiled, then shifted her weight to be just slightly more on her left foot. When Reimu tried to attack her from behind, she spun again, in a graceful pirouette like a dancer, causing Reimu to miss entirely and go stumbling forward until she crashed into me. I managed to get my hands on her shoulders and drive my weight onto my back foot just in time to stop her from tipping me over, which definitely wouldn't have done wonders for my head. Reimu looked ready to try and attack Miss Tenshi once more, so this time I waiting until she had turned around and then wrapped my arms around her shoulders and chest to stop her. It took a few seconds of struggling, but finally, she calmed down and pushed my arms away. She stalked toward Miss Tenshi and then past her, then she stormed around the corner of the Shrine and disappeared from sight.

All I was left with was Miss Tenshi and the pouring rain. Miss Tenshi's face grew serious. "You can't stay indecisive like this forever." She finally murmured, stepping closer to me. While she was taller than Reimu, she was still shorter than me, but she had a certain air of gracefulness about her that made her feel as if she stood over me. "You'll be better off if you make a decision." I felt my shoulders sink and I nodded heavily, then felt a pair of arms around my shoulders. Miss Tenshi was hugging me, gently. "You can always trust a celestial about these things." I thanked her quietly, and after a moment, she released me and stepped back. Then, flicking her hair from her shoulders, she headed back around the corner. I rubbed my face with my hands, breathed in deeply, then followed after them.

Unfortunately, Marisa was already asleep by the time I returned to the room, a fact that had Miss Tenshi a little annoyed. “Ugh, typical. What’s wrong with our luck?” She asked me with a raised eyebrow. I tried not to laugh. Miss Tenshi looked out of the door. “Storm’s getting worse. Last chance to call it, Reimu. Should I take Marisa home?”
