when I entered, they were talking about Oriental and Sacred Place ending and stuffs. then the topic changed and they started talking about why ZUN's making an engagement ring (since he tweeted about it yesterday). then, ZUN announced that he was actually married a while ago, and that he's going to held a marriage ceremony during the same day as Reitaisai 9. he added that he needed to announce the fact that he can't come to Reitaisai 9 for some reason.
the number of viewers went like 1400 to 2100 in an instant. then, they kept talking about ZUN's wife and stuffs until the end.

My problem with loli is that it's so blatantly fanservice'd up 90+% of the time, and there is almost zero way for them to hide it or present it in a manner that does not seem cheesy or shallow.

That's kind of inherent to the field though unless it's just the girls by themselves. Hence I pretty much only like Touhous in this category (and a couple other exceptions) because they aren't having ambiguous relationships with older men that are basically guiding the hands of doujin artists to exploit. Evens so, sometimes the girls are just too cute (not moe, just cute) to sexualize, like Yotsuba&. I know there's doujins of it but I could never look at them with a clear conscience.

The counter to the above of course is, "well duh idiot, most moe/otaku manga works like that".. the biggest recent popular example being My Little Sister Can't Be This Cute. I'm not a hypocrite, I fucking HATE that manga as well, and others like it.

Whatever happened to those anyway? You know, there were various links to web-cams of all sorts of locales, and people would just kind of watch them for random interesting/hilarious shit?

Did they catch on to us or did people just get tired of it?
