One of the reasons, why I'm kinda indifferent towards the remake, is that I'm still charmed by the "obsolete" original VN.
People complain about Takeuchi's early artwork and the repetitive OST, or in general how "outdated" the whole VN comes off but I think it adds a lot to the "late 90s urban fantasy horror" feeling, so much so that I genuinely can't imagine the remake catching it well.
