The catbox theory may hold true for Beatrice's games, and the culprit of each one can change with the perception of the games' participants. But that doesn't change the fact that there IS a definite truth for each and every chapter, as Virgilia stated in red in chapter 5.
Even though you may be wrong sometimes, searching for this single truth is the true legacy of Umineko in my opinion. After all, people basically stopped caring about Higurashi's mysteries after the truth was revealed while we still have threads like this one for Umioneko.
