Can you ever die from old age in Elona? A full 2 years have gone by in game just so I could grind out my stats enough to be DECENT in battle. Too much traveling on the world map, I guess. It's sad, my loli is going to turn 16 next year.

Hey /jp/, I can't decide if I should go for an evade or protection heavy character. First off, how does the mechanics in the protection roll work? If it's

>20% + 1d8

does that mean a 20% chance to reduce damage by one roll of a d8, or is damage reduced by 20% AND one roll of a d8? If it's the latter, screw evade, I'm getting me some heavy armor.
