something tells me r07 really didn't like van dine's shit, considering he blatantly doesn't follow half of it and the character that's meant to be the guy who made them doesn't even like them
i mean he purposefully put in van dine's 11th just so he could be like "uhm, acktually my story still follows it if you UNDERSTAND THE HEART OF THE CULPRIT and HAVE LOVE FOR HER" and it's like man you call shannon and kanon servants all the fucking time it doesn't matter if sayo doesn't see herself as a servant she's still working a servant's job day and night she's still a fucking servant
he would've been better off outright panning and throwing out van dine's commandments if he didn't like them so much rather than halfassedly pretending his story follows half of it but ignores the other half and acting like "it'd be a shit story if i followed all of them!!" is a valid excuse for using it to excuse some things then pretending it doesn't exist the rest of the time
