If you want a mix of FGO with everything else TM, why not just go to /fgog/? The people who CAN deal with FGO talk are all in that shithole, I know for a fact there are anons there who don't play the game and only want TM lore.
Of course, the moment you let FGO into a discussion, it will dominate 90% of the thread, because it's the most trendy, regularly updated part of TM. It's normal that more people want to talk about it, and that it'll generate more buzz.
The people who are tired of that happening are here in /tmg/. They're different threads for mostly different people, who want different kinds of discussion. I don't understand your reasoning behind wanting to turn /tmg/ into a slightly cleaner /fgog/, just let it be what it always has been, even if you wanna call it "childish".
