And what kind of mamono would live in them? We talking full boiling pot metropolis with cancer, scylla, charybdis coexisting with mersharks, or tribal cities?
I'd love to visit their border towns too, I bet they're half submerged towns like World Guide Side III or pic related.

Well, perhaps that picture is not representative, as that particular forest/river city is a designated UMNESCO heritage site and as such is under strict preservation laws. More modern cities wouldn't be quite as romantic.
