I honestly just came here to post something similar after I viewed the latest batch of releases. These new releases seem to get more mundane with each passing month. I got into JAV around 2015, not just because of the cute girls, but because of the unique scenarios and themes that are rare in Western pornography. I remember some of the first movies I watched were the Ai Uehara 100 Man Creampie movie and the Moodyz Bako Bako Bus Tour. Those movies - the visuals, the girls, the outfits - were just so much more fun compared to to Western porn. Over the years, those types of movies are few and far between. Almost ever single movie nowadays is some gonzo "girlfriend experience" type movie that is filmed in a dimly lit onsen or hotel room with the same guy in every scene. I know JAV has had a rough time these past few years with the pandemic and then the new, restrictive laws, but the movies being released nowadays pale in comparison to movies eight years ago.

Take me back to the good ole days...
