I think it's important to balance whatever you like, so maybe look into nicehead abyuse to regret your choices?
I, for one, only really dislike stories that humanize Yukkuri giving them traits they shouldn't have. I also dig abyuse when they aren't killed or kept for compost or similar things, this one is pretty deep.
