for whatever reason, japanese players prefer playing on the west coast (Angels, Mariners, Giants) instead of the east. They absolutely get shafted because those teams suck. the angels also have like one WS and they barely won that (thanks dusty baker!). the best asian/jap that managed to win was hideki matsui on the yankees.
