Iwai finally revealed it and thank God it's a full-length. And I'm not surprised he's casting a female singer as he's been doing it since his early days with Suzuki Ranran in GHOST SOUP and Love Letter, Chara in PiCNiC and Swallowtail Butterfly, Salyu in All About Lily Chou-Chou and Cocco in A Bride for Rip Van Winkle. I guess that's because his works always have a close relationship with music, as he also composes the music for his own films. I've seen Aina in variety shows like Suiyoubi no Downtown, MONSTER IDOL/LOVE, etc. so I'm quite looking forward to seeing how she fares in acting.
This year is blessed, so many of my favorite filmmakers are announcing or releasing new works.
