Yukari got out without being harmed or captured, even though Eirin teleported the moon out of phase to trap her.

There was no counterattack against the Earth, and the moon became impure enough, probably through so many youkai deaths, that the hourai elixir ended up needing to be created.

Kaguya was punished more harshly for drinking some elixir than Yukari was for a full on invasion, leading to both Kaguya and Eirin living in exile forever as traitors.

The moon lost "The Brain of the Moon", an entire civilization effectively lobotomizing itself because one youkai staged an invasion at zero cost to herself.

Yukari is just an aspect of the God-Emperor trying to preserve humanity's psychic might (in the form of gods and youkai which humans created) so we can defend ourselves from the xeno and conquer the galaxy in the future.

Sumireko is one of the first natural human psykers which is why Yukari raids dreams to fix her humaning away problem instead of just killing her.
