When I was in fifth grade a friend, who was a tom boy Mexican girl, came into my class asking if I was in school today during a out date art project, which seemed to be completely irrelevant to a sound 5th grade education to me at the time.First all of my/our friends (60 kids per grade;we all knew one another as friends) went up to her in the chaos of arts and crafts like most children will do.By the time the teacher went over One-Third of my class was in an uproar and knew what she was there for.The teacher let her go talk to me. She and others were around my desk. The others gave me that smile of disbelief and friendly mocking, while the girl spoke.
She handed me a Weeboo cosplay and anime/manga flyer. She said "I knew you're really into anime and manga like me, so we should like meet up there and dress together". My guy friends started to laugh at me and my situation while the popular girls laughed at how she was asking me out, but she never noticed. I said "Ohwwww Thanks...I'll see what I can do...". She had kept going on about it for another minute or so, until she left. I had only asked her once if I could read a manga book she brought to class, just because it was the first time I had ever seen manga. I didn't know what manga was up until then. I never went to the event. The next week she came up to me in a large social setting and asked why I didn't go and I replied "Because that's embarrassing". I didn't want her to know I held cosplay as lowest form of normal social behavior. She and were still friends for a long time, even through part of high school. She kind of became a tool for guys at her high school and kept her otaku side quiet. She became cute after jr.high, but others thought she was dead sexy; I never saw it.

I do realize, mentioned, and even have first hand experience with Koreans and their plastic surgery,
but I was asking about the Japanese, because of all those YouTube rumors.
Yet after seeing the link I provided I don't believe the Japanese do have plastic surgery as the rumors state.
