It absolutely was, it's exceedingly obvious to anyone who even knows a smidgen about what goes on in Hololive and actually watches the content that the entire article is just pushing for "MORE TRANSPARENCY / MORE PROTECTION FOR WORKERS / THEY'RE CORPORATE / ETC." when they are given a ton of free reign compared to other corporate employees. They glossed over WHY the Chinese incident happened (it was one fucking line on YouTube analytics), they even took note of the fact that schedules are determined by the girls themselves and then pretend like it doesn't matter when Cover at least fixes their shit. It feels like such a dishonest article because they're really only talking about Cover despite namedropping Ichikara as being equal to them. The only incident that was truly Cover's fault was Mel's, and they didn't even spell her name right in the fucking article. The whole thing feels like a dig to try and get them to cough up info on the actual people behind the live2D.

At the very least, Vice is a laughing stock nowadays so this article will just be consigned to a dustbin somewhere.

It's trash. It's artificial, devoid of talent, and absolutely soulless. They butcher songs and splice them with chipmunk noises and needlessly increase their speed. The ultimate irony here is when they do it to pre-packaged corporate pop songs and actually make it sound better. It is the antithesis of good and beauty, and an aberration that can only be crafted in the hubris and hatred for originality by men. And that's exactly its appeal. It makes me feel worthless, a machine of a society that refuses to cooperate with the human need for beauty.
