It’s been a while.

I, Shinuchi Mai will graduate from Nogizaka46 as I announced during All Night Nippon on the other day.

The group has been taking care of me for about 9 years.

To the fans who always been supporting me,
Thank you very much.

The time when I applied for the audition was during winter on my 20.
At that time, I was still hunting for a job and didn’t even thought that I will pass the audition.
I remember that I was very surprised back then.

Then 9 years passed since then.. it was like a blink of an eye
and was like a very long journey…
Tons of things happened for the past 9 years.

I was too old at the time I joined the group
so I thought I had to put effort 3 times bigger than the others.

From the outside, my growth look like very slow but actually I was desperately trying.

Because of those times, I could see various scenery
and be very emotional towards many things…

If I should say, I was a spolied kid before I joined Nogizaka,
so suddenly being in an environment where everybody is younger than me kinda made me confused…

But no matter how old am I,
everyone is always there and support me

They are being so kind to this unreliable old lady
and helped me for countless time.

The members are really cute and all of them are kind girls

I thought of repaying the favor and kindness of them as part of my daily routine but seems like it’s still a long way to go…

I’ve spent more time with them rather than my own family, so it’s surely sad that I have to walk on a separated way with them.

But I still have 2 months, so I want to make plenty of memories with everyone!

With that being said…
I’m not very good at writing, so I talked a lot in radio.

Moreover, my solo song was broadcasted!!

To Nogizaka staff and All Night Nippon staff who have been very kind and give me a place I’m belong to,
Thank you very much!

“If I’m graduating, I would like to announce it on ANN!”

That’s what I’ve been planned the moment I became the personality of this show.

Although at that time, I hadn’t even think about graduation or have confidence that this show will last for this long…
What a fearless girl.

My other dream became reality.
How happy I am.

I don’t know if I’m good enough at talking though.

I am now thinking about my future in my 30s, that’s why I put an end to this chapter of my life and came up with this decision!

Wanted to do the same thing as everyone do during the school days.
Must did different things with everyone during my 20s.
Without doubt, both are my youth.

What an extravagant life I have. So happy.
