I have finished Blackish House. Haruma's route was stupid and not in a good way. The whole Natsume and memory suppression shit was an unnecessary twist with no build up or impact and there was not nearly enough of "real" Haruma(who is painfully cute). How Rei got treated was just pure evil too. I guess I can at least thank it for making me appreciate that the writing in some of the other routes could have been much worse.
It's easily the most fun I've had with a Honeybee title but still not something I'd call good or rec to everyone. You have to have a taste for wacky melodrama and high tolerance for bullshit. The writing is as flavorless as always and Hina is an inconsistent(putting it lightly)MC who I could only really say was both fun and had satisfying character development in Rei's route.
That said I definitely don't regret reading it. It was mostly a fun ride and I did get attached to some of the cast and Noa was a CUTE, a CUTE and a BEST and the writers must have also realized this since his route got a bunch of special treatment for no reason.
Tougo is still the funniest character.
