It's a 20 year old game, so most maps are linear fps shooters. Puzzlemaps are a thing sometimes. Fight your way through the map. If you don't know where to go, hang around spawn and follow someone else when they die and spawn in. Or ask. Every maps a bit different, so there isn't one path.

Scroll wheel or press the numbers 1-9

Options>Multiplayer
Press J to go into third person to see your model.

It's Dead Hours Sven Saturday once again, and we're live!
Feel free to join us in spamming ogey.wav and having a good time. To join, you only need two things:
>Sven Co-op (free on steam)
>Server Asset Pack installed in your MAIN sven folder, which can be found in the bellow pastebin

Once you have the game and asset pack installed, in the main menu, type in console:

Player count is limited to 16, so if it fills up, feel free to try again in an hour- plenty of people come and go during the usual duration of the server being hosted.

I don't want to be too annoyingabout the sven posts, but I also want to make sure I give as much notice to anons who want to join tomorrow as possible.

What you need to join:

Download and install that into your base sven co-op folder. It's been a month, so I've updated the pack. This means that if it's your first time or you've joined us in the past, you're going to need to download that new, latest pack before you join us later. Just put it in the main sven folder, override anything it asks.

Should I send a SC suggestions Sven with Ina?
Logic being that Ame enjoys fps, and Ina was interested in the first half-life, but was frustrated with HL2's gameplay. Playing with a friend might make it easier for Ina, and would be an enjoyable stream.

No, if you've downloaded and joined before, you should be fine.
That being said, it's been a month and I'm probably going to update the pack with a few new maps, playermodels, and sound for next weekends server.
Taking suggestions for /hlgg/ sounds, already have gura's uuuoooaaahhh set up for the new pack next week, could use others.

Server asset pack contains the custom maps, player models, chatsounds, campaigns, etc
Just dump the files in the main sven co-op folder.
Since I'm hosting p2p, it'll take eons to directly download the assets from my pc, so it's just a lot faster and easier to just give you all a pack and you'll be good to go for not only my server, but most servers.
If you downloaded the pack from the previous two sessions, it's the still the same and so you don't have to redownload.

I'll post the server IP connect command in an hour when it's go time, look forward to seeing some of you there!

To those who missed the post because of the timezones, I wanted to thank you guys again for joining in on Sven with /hlgg/ on Saturday. Had a lot of fun, you guys are some cool cats.
