It's funny because I definitely know what you mean, there are some weird ass parts to that song, like the "BOO" part where it sounds like it's 80 tracks overlapping is a bit weird, also the verses are forgettable, but the chorus makes it all worth it imo, so catchy. But I guess that's the vice of pop music anyway and the whole point ww~

Have you listened to any Mano yet?? A lot of people say her songs are boring, she started out playing piano ballads and now is pretty much full blown pop, but this is my favorite of her songs:
