Ok So I've been out of the Yu-gi-oh scene for quite some time. I stopped play roughly when they re banned Monster Reborn. Since then A bunch of new decks have come out as well as the Pendulum Cards. now I've read into the Pendulum cards and understand them more or less but still a little confused such as the whole sent to extra deck rather then graveyard and how there are Pendulum Synchro monsters. Could someone explain that to me a bit better. Also what are some cool new decks to use or that are out in general.

(e.g. I bought a couple boosters today for nolstagia reasons and got some wind up cards, i guess they're still around, Monarchs which came around more or less when i stopped playing, etc. But some of the newer cards i don't know like burning Abyss, nekroz, QLI, raidraptor and superheavy samurai)

I play on Dueling network so cost isn't an issue
