forbidden magic: Golden Fire: in certain environments with few onlookers, Ray aka Rance can unleash his golden flames. Those all consuming flames do not leave burn marks however, they leave their vicrims with stabbing wounds and slashes as if striked with a katana
Born from a forbidden love between master and servant, Rance aka Ray grew up in secret as an apprentice butler of Kuwadorian. On the day of Beatrice 2nd's death he snuck out of the secret mansion and followed after Rosa and his half-sister, witnessing her death. On that day Rance became the Golden Shinigami, as he felt responsible for Beatrice's death.
Living an illicit life and having witnessed the death of Kinzo's illegal daughter, Rance was banned from the island and forced to live in secrecy as Ray Camelot in Shibuya from then on. He made a living off theft and barkeeping, earning him a reputation among the local crime scene. After saving an important yakuza's life Ray was subsequently taken in and raised as an assassin by the yakuza group "flying underdog dragon".
Now, 18 years later, a 25 years old Ray is the leader of his very own crime syndicate branch and also an experienced martial artist aka hitman. Getting intel from his late mother Chiyo Kumasawa, he finds out about the gold of the Ushiromiya family and the ceremony of the Golden Witch. Now he's out to get the money as well as his wicked father's life all to himself and fulfill his duty as Golden Shinigami.
