And it's not like you can compare this to the battle off Samar (which ironically took place within the same larger clash around the Philippines), because in that one the USN understood very well that it was going up against overwhelming odds and fought accordingly, using strategy to do as much damage as they could. In a way Nishimura's part of the Southern force and Taffy 3 are a great example of "Fearlessness vs Bravery".
