Running a dungeon isn't easy, and the echidna is responsible for a lot. From the advertising to the quest rewards to the layout itself - an echidna must handle all these things.
Often dungeons are family run, meaning echidnas will pass the role of dungeon master on from snek to snek. When one snek has her stint, gets married and has kids, the next in line will succeed her. An echidna's siblings often provide vital support as either guards or administrators (though some leave for their own adventures). When echidnas forgo being dungeon masters, they may stay in a secluded part of their old dungeon with their husband, or travel the world to experience dungeons from the adventurers perspective.

This one is about an eccentric echidna trying to convince the zoning board why they should let her build a dungeon under their town. It's also got a workaholic OL anubis. Last work got pretty positive responses, so I hope people enjoy reading this one too.
